It’s that time of the year again. Where food lovers amble around an open field trying to find their favourite restaurant, while getting increasingly tipsy on the free wine that is thrown their way. YUP, it’s the Taste of Cape Town 2015 from 10-12 April at the Green Point Cricket Club
Taste of Cape Town 2015!
“Our 8th year promises to be more festive than ever, with loads of new features (and) a collection of delicious restaurants” says Justine Drake, Festival Director.
Food glorious food.
96 Winery Road with chef Natasha Wray; The Bakery at Jordan with George Jardine; and Ernie Els Winery Restaurant with Amelia Hanekom will be popping up this year. And for the full festival you can expect to see Azure Restaurant from The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa with Christo Pretorius, Camissa Brasserie with Jocelyn Myers-Adams & Jason Franco. Cosecha Restaurant at Noble Hill with Riana Robertson. And Longridge Restaurant with Bruce Von Pressentin. Beluga is making their debut with sushi master, Alan Huang. Robertsons Herbs & Spices are bringing experts to reveal their burger-making secrets. From preparing the tastiest, juiciest meat patties to adding the perfect combination of spices, participants in the Robertsons Ultimate Burger-making classes will take burger-making to a new level. Served up by the Spice People, meat-expert Caroline McCann from Braeside Meats, Justin Bonello, and Season 3 Ultimate Braai Master winners, The Tikka Boys, will share their skills. One lucky participant will win a Jetmaster portable grill!
