The Bromwell recently hosted one of its famous High Tea events to raise funds for The Smile Foundation. Guests enjoyed many delicious treats from the high-end high tea offering, with a range of exotic teas and organic coffee also available to order.
The occasion of the event was to celebrate The Bromwells partnership with the Smile foundation. This is a South African non-governmental organisation with a health care vision for children that have facial conditions. Together with the country’s Academic Hospitals, they work to put the smile back onto children’s faces with free corrective facial reconstructive surgery and treatments.
This year, a cheque for R10,000 was handed to Moira Gerszt the Operations Executive Director of the Smile Foundation, and 20% of the proceeds of all fashion purchases on the day were added to the donation.
