Haute Cabriere in Franschhoek has been around for 25 years and has transformed the wining community with its belle femme culture and world class space. But they haven’t stopped there; they’ve been on a journey to renovate and set the scene for the next couple of decades of Haute Cabriere and the von Arnim family’s legacy.
The project has been about honouring the legacy of our heritage; while celebrating the beauty of evolution. Even though the wines and the destination are ever changing, it will never lose its essence. – says Takuan von Arnim, Director of Wine and 2nd generation Cellar Master.
“Every element of the project was ultimately designed to allow and inspire our guests to create and celebrate their own beautiful food and wine experiences,” continues von Arnim.
The architect has created a stylish and authentic space with a lighter ambience, on-trend interiors and the elegance and sophistication guests have come to expect. It’s chic, yet opulent, understated and accessible, with a glassed outdoor area as the most notable change.
Haute Cabrière now offers a food and wine element from breakfast to dinner, and all the in-betweens! The brand-new deli and bakery with freshly baked artisanal fare, fresh produce from the vegetable garden, and condiments from the menu are on offer, enabling guests to take the Haute Cabrière experience home.
Takuan von Arnim concludes that the journey, embarked upon 25 years ago, has really been about bringing to life the vision of creating an occasion for people to enjoy the art of life, in all its different forms. “We’re exceptionally proud of the result and look forward to welcoming our guests.”
