Traditional country meals like vetkoek and Mexican chilli con carne has been added, served with a yoghurt and cucumber sambal.
Vegetarians aren’t left behind with a home-crafted veggie burger made from cauliflower and broccoli, topped with Camembert cheese and served with onion rings and chips. Meat lovers can enjoy the cellardoor burger: a succulent beef patty topped with a combination of roasted mushrooms and pickles (with your choice of boerenkaas and chilli jam or gorgonzola and caramelised onions), served with rustic chips. Choose a slice of cheese cake, carrot cake or moist chocolate cake for dessert. Yum!
Children can also get their favourites from the kiddies menu: deep-fried, crumbed calamari and chips; cheesy bacon penne pasta or a tomato base pizza layered with mozzarella and topped with pineapple and a choice of chicken or ham.
The Franschhoek Cellar kitchen staff are prepped and ready with protective gear and the facility is sanitized according to strict standards. Cashless payment solutions available when staff deliver. They operate from 11:00-18:30 daily, Mondays – Sundays.
