A fashion-infused celebration of creativity, culture and cake!
Join The Mount Nelson for a sumptuous, newly launched Afternoon Tea menu and an immersive fashion experience with Thebe Magugu, Sindiso Khumalo, Lezanne Viviers of VIVIERS Studio, Laduma Ngxokolo of MAXHOSA AFRICA, and Maxwell Boko and Mmuso Potsane of MMUSOMAXWELL.
During this week, enjoy a salon-style fashion show while you sample irresistible cakes, tarts, loaves and classic local treats plus a few surprises like a digestif cart, where aged whiskey and cognac can be sipped at your leisure as well as a barista serving single origin African coffee.
In addition Pastry chef, Vicky Gurovich, has collaborated with each of the five designers to create a bespoke menu for each of their fashion showcases. Befitting the day’s standing as a showcase of style and luxury, there’ll also be a complimentary glass of Moët & Chandon upon arrival.
