The popular Nederburg Concert Series is back!
Starting in June all the way to November, be treated to local talents every last Sunday of the month. Catering for all musical tastes, concerts featuring music for piano duo, guitar duo, violin, flute, cello and voice are to be enjoyed in beautiful surroundings paired with top Nederburg wines and a delicious finger supper.

The series kicked-off last week with the annual Nederburg Debut Concert. The event showcased two of South Africa’s brightest young talents on the local classical music scene with 18 year-old violinist Jeffrey Armstrong and 21 year-old pianist, Sulayman Human performing on the evening.

July
The multi SAMA award-winning guitar duo, CH2, will also make their debut at the concert series on Sunday 26 July. With their unique style of playing, classically trained guitarists, Corneille Hutten and Leon Gropp will perform a programme exclusively put together for the Nederburg Concert Series, taking the audience on a musical journey ranging from classical, world and cross-over music.
August
The concert on Sunday 30 August welcomes the sparkling Esperanza Trio on stage at Nederburg. Well-known flautist Liesl Stoltz, cellist Polina Burdukova and pianist Kerryn Wisniewski will delight in a performance of music for flute, cello and piano and the programme will include works by Carl Maria von Weber and Philippe Gaubert.
September
On Sunday 27 September, the Nederburg Concert Series once again collaborates with the ATKV in a concert featuring winners of the ATKV Muziq and ATKV Muziqanto competitions. The winner of Muziqanto 2014, baritone Johannes Slabbert will share the stage with the winner of the Muziq 2015 competition.
October
The last chamber music concert in this year’s series takes place on Sunday 30 October and features the international piano duo, Vassily Primakov and Natalia Lavrova. The acclaimed Russian pianists, who both enjoy successful solo careers, established the duo in 2010 and has since garnered accolades from audiences and critics all over the world.
P.S.: All concerts take place at the Nederburg Manor House and include sherry or sparkling wine on arrival and during interval, as well as a delicious finger supper accompanied by top Nederburg wines after the concert.
