Embrace the beautiful winelands at Jordan spending the day in the tranquil setting of the beautiful estate.
With gorgeous views Stellenbosch Valley, the picnic pods surround the dam on the estate and is the idyllic setting for a relaxed picnic with family and friends!
The picnic baskets are R595 per basket feeding 2 people and includes the setup of the pods with blankets and pillow and excludes all beverages. A selection of wines, craft beers, soft drinks, mocktails and hot beverages can be purchased at The Bakery on the day, when baskets are collected.
Your basket will include freshly baked, wood-fired vegetable focaccia, mini brioche and the famous Cape seed loaf to be enjoyed with a selection of locally sourced charcuterie including Ryan Boon biltong as well as a selection of hard and soft cheeses like Camembert, Brie, Stanford and Boerenkaas.
This will be accompanied by estate-grown Jordan olives and homemade Thai chicken pâté, apple chutney, smoked Snoek pâté and savoury whipped butter. You will also receive a sumptuous grilled stone fruit salad with a lemon and thyme dressing and a gourmet quiche Lorraine each. Finish your meal on a sweet note with the Chef’s patisserie of the day.

Their basket will include is a petit beef sausage rolls, a mini margarita pizza, a packet of crisps and a juice box. Then satisfy their sweet tooth with a giant cookie! They can enjoy their own basket, whilst running on the lawns and playing with their bubbles, which are included as a gift in the basket.
