The Bay Harbour Market, located at the Hout Bay Harbour, is an eclectic stylish wonderland of exquisite art, craft, fashion, decor and music complemented by the delicious aromas of food to tempt all the senses.
With over 100 stalls and a huge range of delicious options, picking what to eat can feel impossible. That’s where Vagabond Kitchens comes in, with an ethos of “it’s better to do one thing well”. A relative new comer to the Bay Harbour Market scene, they offer a simple menu that they’ve honed to perfection.
Known to serve the very best, Vagabond’s famous Seared Yellowfin Tuna is served with a tropical salsa, red pepper harissa, soy mayo and wild rocket. An equally popular dish on their menu is their Pan-Fried Beef Rump (wet-aged for six weeks). Served in toasted whole-wheat wrap or plated as a salad, this dish is served with avo, Danish feta, balsamic reduction and wild rocket.
A team that is inspired by their passion for food, Vagabond Kitchens really are about the journey – from sourcing and making to plating and savouring.
Over the years we have built up a great supplier base for all our fresh ingredients.
Our continued support and loyalty to our local producers now puts us in a position whereby we know we are able to serve the best and freshest on every plate we put out. – says Vagabond co-founder FC Cloete.
Vagabond Kitchens narrows down your options for you, with dishes that ensure a fantastic meal every time! Join the Bay Harbour Market this weekend to see for yourself.
Open on Friday from 5pm – 9pm and from 9:30 am – 4pm on Saturday & Sunday.
