What could be more memorable than an intimate al fresco Valentine’s Day picnic with enchanting vineyard sights or sweeping rolling lawns and the Hottentots-Holland mountains as a backdrop?
On Saturday 13 February (not Sunday the 14th), Elgin Vintners wine farm in the beautiful Elgin Valley will be offering a scrumptious picnic basket for couples who would like to spend a romantic day out in nature.
The picnic box includes cheese, savoury biscuits, roasted nuts, fresh crudites, fruit and preserves, pate, Appletiser and/or Grapetiser. Extra beverages can be bought from the Elgin Vintners Tasting Room.
Please note that this is a Sunset Picnic and picnic baskets can be collected from the Elgin Vintners Tasting Room from 5pm onwards. Guests can relax on the lawns with ample space for social distancing, explore the English Country garden, fairy village and take a short stroll down to the Palmiet river.
What to bring:
- Love and a romantic mood
- A blanket and/or pillows to relax on the lawns
- Sunhat & Insect repellant.
