The third edition of Spier Light Art, hosted at Spier Wine Farm from 19 March – 18 April 2021, is a night-time adventure for the whole family to enjoy.
A remarkable array of interactive artworks that use light, sound and video will be scattered across the historic Stellenbosch estate, illuminating the present moment and helping us to imagine where we might be headed next.
Entrance to the event is free, lights are switched on at dusk.

The Sunday Times Neighbourhood supplement wrote about Spier Light Art 2019:
“What a spoil to walk around safely in near darkness… the beautiful surroundings merging with the night skies, and, interspersed with the pristine gardens, an array of light art surprises….” Highlighting the child-friendly nature of the experience, the Weekend Argus said, “take the family along for a fun evening” describing various works as “playful”, “astute and profound” and “poignant”.
