Warm up your Winter with De Grendel’s ‘Unwined Pasta Evenings’

As winter’s chill settles in, De Grendel Wines offers a perfect escape with their Unwined Pasta Evenings.

Set on their stunning glass-enclosed tasting stoep, these evenings promise a delightful blend of culinary excellence and exquisite wine, set against the backdrop of breathtaking views.

De Grendel Tasting Room, is known for its sophisticated ambiance and panoramic views, making it the ideal setting for this unique dining experience.

• The ‘Unwined Pasta Evenings’ are scheduled for the 6th and 27th of August 2024, from 17h00 to 19h00. At R475 per person, this is an experience not to be missed.

Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a glass of bubbly and a canape, setting the tone for an indulgent evening. The culinary journey begins with a basil pesto spaghetti, elegantly topped with grana padano and perfectly paired with De Grendel Viognier. This is followed by a rich and sumptuous serving of pappardelle featuring grass-fed beef fillet, foraged pine ring mushrooms, Coach House cream, belnori green peppercorn fromage, and pecorino. This dish is beautifully complemented by the acclaimed Op Die Berg Pinot Noir.
