Saturday’s Magnum Gr 3 Cape Classic meeting is always one of the most looked forward to events of the Cape Summer Of Champions Season. It not only sees racing returning to Cape Town’s flagship racecourse, Kenilworth, but also allows the country’s racing purists to form early opinions on the three-year-old crop of colts and geldings.

Great entertainment on offer as Rugby fans will be well catered for and what better way to watch the Springboks taking on the All Blacks in the World Cup semi-final than amidst sports fans at Kenilworth on a balmy evening under the shadow of Table Mountain. The action will be broadcast on many big screens. Those who pre-book in the Rugby Fan Zone will receive a complimentary free drink and those who have pre-booked and who are on course before 3pm stand a chance to win a bottle of Moet & Chandon as well as a complimentary Summer of Champions hospitality package for any race day in the season (Excluding the J&B Met & L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate) in a lucky draw.
