This premier cheese event will bring together cheesemakers and cheese lovers, bakers and brewers, and all things spicy and nice.
A lively weekend line-up will see leading cheese experts, food bloggers, chefs and winemakers in attendance, conducting tastings, pairings, and cheese-making demonstrations at The Italian Club in Cape Town.
From the 30th September to the 1st of October, you can explore imported cheeses as well as cheese complements such as olives, wine, beer, breads, charcuterie, preserves, etc. Over 40 stands will be present including a bar and restaurant area. Plenty of kids entertainment is provided as well as light music to add to the atmosphere.
You can also pop by the chefs area where demonstrations by cheese-makers, well known foodies and chefs will take place.
Tickets can be bought at the door for R90, or R55 for 12-18 year olds and pensioners. Kids under 12 can join for free.
P.S.: The Fair will be open from 10:00 to 18:00 on Saturday, and from 10:00 to 16:00 on Sunday.
