The Sanctuary Restaurant on Kloof Street is thrilled to present an exclusive culinary event in partnership with the prestigious Grande Provence Wine Estate.
Guests are invited to an exhilarating evening on Saturday, 7th September 2024, at 19:00, to experience a journey through five iconic Grande Provence wines paired with an expertly crafted four-course dinner, all for only R525 per person.
What’s on the Menu?
- The evening begins with a welcome drink of Grande Provence Sauvignon Blanc, a wine that captures the full tropical fruit spectrum with a long, lingering finish on the palate.
- The culinary adventure continues with an amuse bouche paired with Grande Provence Chenin Blanc, featuring Parma ham or smoked feta on a gruyere wafer with apple and rocket puree.
- For the starter, guests will enjoy sous vide kingklip or panko tofu (V), perfectly paired with Grande Provence Chardonnay. The dish is complemented by herb butter, baby spinach puree, lightly smoked cauliflower puree, and a green pea and potato broth.
- The main course offers a choice between dukkah lamb noisette or dukkah veg seitan (V), accompanied by roasted garlic butternut fritters, baby carrots, baby onions, and a red wine, thyme, and marrow jus, paired with Grande Provence Merlot.
- The evening ends with a dessert: a toffee sago crème brûlée, served with stewed fruit compote, biscotti wafer, and vanilla bean ice-cream, perfectly complemented by the 2019 Michelangelo Gold Medal-winning Grande Provence Shiraz.
