Reverie Social Table is a special fine-dining establishment which provides not only delicious plates of food but an experience.
At Reverie, guests are seated at a bespoke eighteen seat table to enjoy a five-course meal with an emphasis on local produce and flavours. Each dish is thoughtfully paired with a fitting South African wine, each diner is served 6 different wines. Chef patron Julia Hattingh’s proudly South African table d’hôte style eatery is located in Observatory, Cape Town and has a focus on social dining.
The cost for both food and wine is usually R820 per person, but for the months of June & August Reverie is offering a winter special where 4 diners only pay for 3.
It is encouraged that guests pay for their dinner online beforehand as to not have any extra concerns while dining, although credit card facilities are available. It is also advised that once you arrive you put your cellphone away, as to fully engage with the experience and your dining companions.
