A few weeks ago I was sent a very tasty box of ZZ2 speciality tomatoes. While the words Romanita, Bacio and Rigoletto didn’t have much of a meaning for me before. Now, I know that these are red, roundish, quite small and all grow in South Africa. All equally tasty, saucy and juicy! These tomatoes (or little rascals) are available at all major supermarket chains.
They are also as fresh as they can be as they are picked on one day and delivered to the stores the next. But it’s not only their freshness that has people talking; they are oh-so very versatile for everyday cooking. You can follow the brand on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with the latest recipes. Every day simple recipes, which show how wonderfully versatile these specialty tomatoes really are.
