Having opened its doors in February 2008, Salushi Intaba’s concept is simple – specilaizing in Salads, Noodles and Sushi, the emphasis is on consistent quality and service using the freshest ingredients.
Set in the heart of Claremont’s commercial hub and silhouetted by the spectacular backdrop of Table Mountain, Salushi offers great value on. The standard of Salushi’s sushi remains of the highest quality and management and staff continue to ensure that the wait is not unreasonable. Owner Grant Isaacs makes no excuses and insists that the freshly prepared, high quality and extremely good value offer is well worth a slightly longer wait!
Signature dishes include Bon Bon Gifts (salmon fashion sandwiches wrapped in salmon and topped with mayo and caviar), Prawn Passion (Deep fried prawn California rolls topped with teriyaki sauce, Japanese mayo and spring onion), Malay Chicken (a rice noodle dish with wok seared chicken strips in a coconut milk, coriander and fresh chilli sauce) while the wok seared Salmon Salad continues to receive rave revues. The Wasabi Truffle (Lindt chocolate and wasabi base topped with a delicious Crème Bruleé topping) is simply decadent while the Salushi Soul (a refreshing cocktail with ginger and mint balanced beautifully with sweet vanilla, Tanqueray gin and vanilla sugar) is the perfect way to unwind after a long day.
Under the watchful eye of former squash professional Grant Isaacs, Salushi is the ideal venue for a long lazy lunch, relaxing dinner while the cocktail bar is ideal for winding down after a long day at the office.
