JiVE is thrilled to announce the 26th edition of the Cape Town Funny Championship, South Africa’s premier talent search for the next comedic sensation.
This exciting opportunity could launch your career on one of the country’s most iconic stages, The JiVE Funny Festival at the Baxter Theatre, which runs from June 2 to June 29, 2025.
Why You Should Enter:

Auditions will take place on April 11 and 12, 2025, at the Canal Walk Auditorium. The winner will earn a coveted spot in the festival lineup, joining renowned performers such as Alan Committie, Dalin Oliver, Emo & Loukmaan Adams, Tumi Morake, and international acts like Charlie Caper.
