Knysna Gin Distillery Dinner & Gin Pairing at The Turbine Hotel

Gin enthusiasts and food lovers are in for a treat as The Turbine Hotel’s Island Café hosts an exclusive Knysna Gin Distillery Pairing on 27 February 2025.

This one-night-only event offers a perfectly curated menu designed to showcase the versatility of Knysna’s finest gins, paired with gourmet dishes that elevate the flavours.

Priced at R540 per person, this experience is not to be missed.

  • The evening kicks off with a Knysna Gin Vermouth served alongside rich duck liver pâté, complemented by hibiscus jelly and almond praline.
  • The first course features Knysna Classic Gin & spice-cured mackerel, with coriander relish and garlic mayo, setting the stage for a flavourful journey.
  • Guests will then savour a bold wild boar & pistachio terrine paired with a gin and berry compote.
  • The third course brings a comforting forest mushroom risotto, enhanced by fresh herbs, parmesan, and a perfectly matched Knysna Classic Gin & Tonic.
  • To end on a sweet note, the Summer Trifle Deconstructed delights with citrus and cinnamon sponge, mango apple mint gin jelly, and a vanilla cloud, finished with a shot of limoncello.
