Have some fun this Halloween with an unusual and tongue-in-cheek wine and sugary treats pairing. After all the kids aren’t the only ones that should be enjoying trick or treat.
The pairing of four wines all paired with devilishly delicious eats is offered from 1 until 31 October at the Durbanville Hills cellar. Durbanville Hills Sauvignon blanc, Merlot Rosé, Rhinofields Chardonnay and Pinotage wines are all paired with pomegranate jelly, nougat, strawberry gums and marshmallows. And if the kids insist on sharing in the fun, there is an option available for them too with a box of juice and costs R60.
The tasting is available at R70 per person and bookings advised. Contact Laura Carswell for more information or to book on info@durbanvillehills.co.za or 021 558 1300
