The House of Angostura® is thrilled to reveal the Top 10 finalists for the highly anticipated ANGOSTURA® Global Cocktail Challenge (AGCC) 2024/2025.
This prestigious competition has seen bartenders from around the world showcase their talent, creativity, and passion, all competing for a chance to become the next ANGOSTURA® Global Cocktail Champion.
With incredible skill and originality, these ten outstanding bartenders have set themselves apart in the quest to represent ANGOSTURA® on a global stage.
- This year’s theme, “A Journey Through Time,” challenged competitors to create a swizzle cocktail that pays homage to ANGOSTURA’s 200-year legacy, blending timeless elegance with innovative flair. Our panel of esteemed judges reviewed over 40 entries, each cocktail more impressive than the last. The selected finalists have not only demonstrated exceptional technical skills but also the ability to capture ANGOSTURA’s rich history and artistry in each of their creations.

The excitement builds as the National and Regional Finals of the ANGOSTURA® Global Cocktail Challenge approach, taking place on 3 March 2025 in Cape Town. Here, the top bartenders from across the nation will go head-to-head for a chance to claim the esteemed title of ANGOSTURA® Cocktail Challenge Winner for their country.
This thrilling competition brings more than just a prestigious title – the winner will earn an incredible trip to Trinidad & Tobago in May 2025. There, they’ll represent their country on the global stage, competing against elite bartenders worldwide for the ultimate prize and the title of ANGOSTURA® Global Cocktail Challenge Winner.
