By highlighting iconic areas such as Die Baan (Langebaan), Die Plain (Mitchells Plain), and Bontas (Bonteheuwel), “My Jive, My Hood” is sparking a renewed sense of pride and unity throughout the Western Cape. The initiative encourages residents to share their personal stories, embrace their heritage, and support local projects that nurture the cultural vibrancy of their communities. Showcasing the famous nicknames of local areas, the campaign visually celebrates the region’s cultural richness.
