Hyatt House Sandton enhances the spirit of giving by contributing 10% of every transaction to the Gift of the Givers Foundation, allowing guests to partake in a meaningful celebration.

Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a choice of refreshing lassi drinks—whether plain or fruit-infused—setting the perfect tone for a delightful dining experience.

The dining experience begins with an array of cold mezze, featuring freshly baked breads served with chilled butter, alongside dates, muhammara, marinated olives, marinated feta, hummus, and tzatziki. An artisanal cheese platter adds an extra touch of indulgence.

For those craving something warm, the hot mezze selection includes flavorful beef samosas, crispy vegetable spring rolls, savory chicken pies, and a delectable zaatar quiche, offering a delightful mix of textures and tastes.

Diners can create their own garden salad with a medley of fresh greens, onion rings, cucumber slices, olives, peppers, cherry tomatoes, and herb croutons, all complemented by a selection of flavored oils and vinaigrettes. Additionally, a roast butternut couscous salad, beetroot feta and rocket salad drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette, and a comforting deli potato salad round out the cold selections.

The hot selection boasts an impressive variety of dishes, catering to diverse palates. Highlights include a rich jeera chicken tagine with prunes and flaked almonds, Dum Keema—a fragrant lamb mince and potato curry, and crusted line fish paired with Thai green curry sauce. Accompaniments such as pilaf rice, lamb ouzi, vegetable korma, and Durban-style chicken curry ensure a satisfying feast.

No celebration is complete without a decadent dessert selection. Guests can indulge in an assortment of shortbread biscuits, including pistachio and rose crescents, chocolate-dipped hazelnut fingers, jolly jammers, and almond Nankhatai. Traditional delights such as Rashmalai cardamom and saffron milk pudding, brown butter honey mille-feuille, and Om-Ali bread pudding with pistachio, cranberry, and pine nuts promise a memorable conclusion to the meal. For those seeking a refreshing end, a fresh fruit salad is also available.
