Alvin Quah first came to SA to attend the Good Food and Wine Show. Tickets to see him were sold out a long in advance. If you missed him then, you can catch him again this November when he hosts demonstrates hands-on workshops at the Good Food Studio at Pick n Pay on Nicol in Sandton. The deomonstrations are limited to 60 people and cost R175 which include welcome drinks, refreshments and a photo opportunity with Alvin. The workshops cost R350 and are limited to 32 people. These will be held between 21 and 25 November.
Even though he didn’t win MasterChef Australia, Alvin was certainly the most popular contestant for SA viewers.
I love South Africa. I adore people who can appreciate my sometimes silly sense of humour. And who could say no to a population who worships meat and their braai?
Don’t forget to book your place at the workshops or demonstrations! These can be made by emailing goodfoodstudio@pnp.co.za or calling 011 998 3310.
