Set against the picturesque backdrop of Kunjani’s estate, this five-course feast is a celebration of the country’s most cherished dishes, paired with warm hospitality and exquisite flavors.
What’s on the Menu?
- The evening begins at 6:00 PM with a tantalizing first course of roosterkoek, biltong, and chakalaka—quintessential South African staples that set the tone for the delicious journey ahead.
- The second course showcases snoek pâté with lime, pickled cucumber, and madombolo, offering a refreshing coastal twist.
- The third course brings a taste of tradition with an ostrich bobotie samoosa served with baked egg custard and apricot chutney.
- For the main course, guests can choose between two mouthwatering options: the South African Braai Plate featuring boerewors, lamb cutlet, venison, mieliepap, and tomato smoor, or the Cape Malay Kreef Sosatie served with coconut curry sauce and delightful accompaniments.
- To end on a sweet note, enjoy a malva melktert with appelliefies compote and cinnamon ice cream.
