Small Plates, Big Flavour: Jordan’s Minimized Tasting Menu Special is here for Winter!

Rainy days, misty vineyards, and the smell of something delicious wafting from the kitchen—it’s officially winter in the Winelands, and The Jordan Restaurant is making it worth bundling up for.

Chef Marthinus Ferreira is back with a Winter Lunch Special that hits all the right notes: warm, comforting, and bursting with bold seasonal flavour.

From April through September, guests can enjoy a Minimized Tasting Menu—a curated lineup of dishes that might be smaller in portion but are big on taste and creativity.

  • At R650 per person, it’s a no-brainer for food lovers keen on a refined, soul-satisfying lunch. Expect a celebration of local ingredients, plated with the signature flair Marthinus is known for. Think wintery textures, rich sauces, and inventive twists that turn comfort food into an art form.

Lunch is served Wednesday to Saturday, and for those who prefer to freestyle, the full winter menu is also available à la carte—perfect if you just want to pop in for a single standout dish and a glass of something excellent from Jordan Wine Estate. Cosy interiors, vineyard views, and a menu that makes you forget about grey skies? Yes, please.

Bookings are essential, so grab a seat and give winter the gourmet treatment it deserves.
