Benguela Cove invites you to an unforgettable Heritage Day celebration on September 24th.

Located between Cape Town and Hermanus, Benguela Cove is must-visit destination for food & wine enthusiasts, families, and friends.

What’s happening on Heritage Day?

  • Kick off the day with a delightful brunch at Moody Lagoon from 09:30 to 11:30. The festivities continue with a traditional South African spit braai in the courtyard from 11:00 to 18:00, featuring whole lamb and pig on the spit, vegan options, and delectable sides prepared by renowned Chef Annie Badenhorst. Enjoy platters in the Tasting Room from 10:00 to 16:00, and pair your meal with a refreshing South African gin cocktail or a locally crafted Folken Good draught.

For a truly immersive experience, stay in one of Benguela Cove’s luxurious waterfront villas.

The Heritage Day Accommodation Special offers a three-room villa for R2500 per person per night, including exclusive amenities like tutored wine tastings, a winery tour, and a vineyard safari allowing you to enjoy the celebrations to the fullest.

Beyond the culinary delights, Benguela Cove offers a variety of activities, including Pirate Golf, vineyard safaris, food and wine pairings, and a visit to the art gallery.
