GINJA, the beloved waterfront restaurant at the V&A Waterfront, is rolling out something special this Mother’s Day—an indulgent buffet lunch set against stunning harbor views, all for R395 per person.
It’s happening on Sunday, 11 May 2025, and includes a complimentary glass of bubbles to kick things off in style.

- The menu is packed with variety and elegance, starting with a rustic bread display featuring sourdough, ciabatta, baguette, and homemade dips.
- From there, the cold buffet offers refined small plates like kudu carpaccio vol au vents, lentil tabouli, and pan-fried gnocchi with bacon and blue cheese. Add crispy leeks, glazed beetroot, and a lineup of fresh salads, and you’ve already got a spread fit for royalty.
- The hot buffet is equally generous. Think buttery saffron basmati, Yorkshire puddings, and rich options like braised oxtail, green pea truffle penne, or a South Indian brinjal curry. There’s also a seafood cioppino packed with prawns and mussels for those after a coastal touch.
- At the carving station, classic comfort meets luxury with roasted pork belly and cranberry juice, wholegrain mustard beef sirloin, and lemon & herb roast chicken with pork stuffing. It’s all the warmth of a home-cooked roast, with none of the cleanup.
