What did we order?

The Chilli Prawn Linguine was an absolute dream and expertly balances flavors and textures. The succulent prawns intertwine with a gentle kick of red chilli, the freshness of fennel and parsley, and the zest of lemon, all harmonized by a creamy white wine sauce, crowned with a sprinkling of parmesan. Each element contributes to a symphony of taste, creating a dish that is both comforting and brings excitement with every bite.

The Fig, Parma Ham, and Avo Pizza elevated the humble pizza to a gourmet delight. The sweetness of preserved figs and creamy avocado perfectly complement the salty richness of parma ham, while the rocket adds a fresh contrast with a peppery undertone. All this is tied together by a drizzle of balsamic reduction, resulting in a pizza that is as visually stunning as it is delicious.

No meal at The Sanctuary Restaurant is complete without indulging in one of their divine desserts. The Chocolate Fondant with its rich dark chocolate center teams up with the tartness of raspberry coulis and the crunch of chocolate crumble. Paired with  a scoop of indulgent vanilla ice cream, it was a pure delight.

The Malva Pudding offers a taste of South African tradition with a twist. The warm, sponge-like pudding soaked in sticky toffee sauce is elevated by the creamy coolness of Amarula ice cream, creating a perfect balance of flavors and temperatures that is both comforting and indulgent.
