Enjoy a selection of delicacies and romantic treats curated by Executive Chef Norman Heath, whilst soaking up the sunset and sounds of the Atlantic Ocean.
At a cost of R745 per couple, the romantic tone will be set as you are greeted with a glass of sparkling wine on arrival.
Once you and your partner are settled comfortably on your blanket overlooking the sea, you can dip into the treats in store. Start with a pearl barley garden salad, a selection of hams, smoked duck with mustard and homemade pickles. Enjoy the beautiful scenery while you linger with a selection of snacks such as peppadew cream cheese, roast onion pate, biltong pate and farm style bread.
A light Franschhoek trout salad with honey mustard dressing sets the scene for some serious dining on Moroccan spiced lamb kebabs with black garlic aioli, beef fillet, bacon with smoked maple syrup glaze. Finish with irresistible sticky pork rib and Asian style chicken wings.
For dessert, you’ll enjoy a selection of cheeses, honey comb, preserves and biscuits, strawberries, whipped cream and salted caramel dipping sauce. And last but not least, dark chocolate, rocky road chocolate brownie with toasted hazelnuts and candied banana.
